(Pocket-lint) – Poco, the derivative brand of Xiaomi, is expected to launch its successor Poco M3 very soon.
We should expect to see the Poco M4 in the world as early as February, tipster Mukul Sharma revealed in a post on MySmartPrice.
The Poco M3 launched in India in February 2021, so the timing makes a lot of sense.
The new phone is expected to feature a MediaTek processor, although details have yet to emerge.
Imaging-wise, we should expect a tri-camera array with a 64 MP OV64B40 sensor, 8 MP IMX355 sensor, and a 2 MP OV2A lens.
The screen is said to have a 90Hz refresh rate and will likely be a FullHD LCD panel.
The Poco M4 will run Android 11 out of the box with a Xiaomi MIUI skin on top. A bit disappointing considering that Android 12 has been out for a while now.

Details are thin on the ground at the moment, but we’re sure there will be a lot more information surfacing in the weeks to come.
The Poco M3 impressed us with the value it offered, with specs often reserved for much more expensive devices. We especially liked the 6000mAh battery which can keep you fit all day.
If the M4 looks like its predecessor, it’s sure to be a hit with budget-conscious mobile buyers.
