Any phone makes bad photos and videos. It’s just a smartphone. Don’t expect good camera quality. Also, I have stopped to follow most of the news and new upcoming phones as there is no change worth buying. It’s best to do your research every few years when you need to change your phone. That’s it. Otherwise, it’s a waste of time and money.
The smartphone is all in one, but at the same time it’s not a real TV, it’s not real speakers, it’s not a real camera, etc.

Loss of confidence in them, it’s time to switch to Vivo/honor

sweggitity, 3 hours agoThe flagship iteration is supposed to have upgrades not downgrades, this is a downgrade from OP9P!… moreAs far as I remember, OnePlus has always had worse cameras than the competition. And as I always know, dxomark has always been corrupted.

fastanddubious, 4 hours agoHave you heard of the Pixel 6 pro? Yes, I have it and I would prefer that, but it’s not officially available where I am. I’m just saying the score isn’t bad, certainly not at the highest level. The main sensor score is doing quite well. I wouldn’t choose the phone personally as you can get last year’s flagship models where I am for much cheaper and so far this year the newer models from Oneplus, Oppo and Xiaomi haven’t really brought much of a boost. significant improvements.

Gray wolf, 3 hours agoIsn’t necessarily a bad phone, it’s just that it’s overpriced for what it offers. Not really… moreThe flagship iteration is supposed to have upgrades not downgrades, this is an OP9P downgrade!
Lower UW camera
No IP rating in all variants
No macro mode
No MEMC
No laser autofocus
No Type-C to Type-C cable
Poor build quality that bends
3rd mic missing in Indian and Chinese variants
Buggy software and instability.
It is a very bad buy, with such a price.

oneplus is no longer worth buying. cutting corners is only worth it if their phone costs 400-500 max. at the current price, it would be very stupid not to opt for fox xiaomi or samsung instead.

None, 4 hours agoDamn, OP 10 Pro is literally a joke of the year lolIsn’t necessarily a bad phone, it’s just that it’s overpriced for what it offers. Not much of an upgrade from OnePlus 9 Pro (and this one wasn’t a great phone to start with, especially after the Android 12 update).
Also, if this is their “crème de la crème” phone for this year, I don’t want to know how their midrange phones will perform.
At this point, I think OnePlus has 2 options:
1. Either they wake up and start doing the good things they did in the past.
2. Or they will be lost in the dominant territory and fully enter Oppo. At that time, they will basically disappear as a brand.

I mean, if your phone is in 50th place, I doubt daily performance puts it in the top spot. Lol.

They don’t like the Hasselblad setting. DxoMark appears consistent with GSMARENA’s conclusion. Maybe Hasselblad isn’t good at adjusting smartphone cameras.

In fact, this score is relatively good for oneplus given that it uses the same main sensor and zoom as the 9 pro, but has a much weaker ultra wide sensor. Therefore, they did quite well in improving the score slightly over the 9pro. They never looked to challenge high scores with an 8mp zoom lens and an ultra wide jn1. The hardware just isn’t good enough to match the top phones

They will be made by a Chinese company like Sunny Optical. Leica just gives the stamp of approval. Leica has many years of experience in mobile image processing with Huawei and they learned from Huawei as Huawei learned from them, so at least they should be able to provide useful information to Xiaomi from of their past experience
