Hello, and There you go ! The imaginary Zach Riddley shared a first glimpse of the brand Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure to come in the extension of the French Pavilion at the EPCOT!
In the image, we see a gold leaf applied to the golden elements of the marquee, which will also be equipped with 200 individual bulbs. So far, many of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure’s design cues have matched that of its Disneyland Paris counterpart, Ratatouille: Remy’s Totally Toque Adventure, however this sign is slightly different, with the gold leaf added a unexpected opulence and chef Remy in full view.
This original sculpture is the result of a creative collaboration between Pixar and the Imagineering artisans, and features Chef Remy surrounded by one of his favorite things: food! This photo captures the critical moment in the creation of the marquee as the gold leaf is applied by hand, bringing highlights and detail to one of our final finishing touches on the exterior of the attraction. I can’t wait to see this completed marquee installed above the attraction’s main entrance where it will come to life with nearly 200 individual bulbs !!
Zach Riddley, Walt Disney World Site Portfolio Manager
Note that Zach points out that the final finishing touches are being made to the outside attraction … giving credence to rumors that the interior of the attraction is still unfinished and may not open in 2020.
