This is not understandable because Fold smartphones are already big! I think I’ll skip it again until they do with the S Pen slot.
Expect the crease with the S-Pen slot and larger front screen. If you have a 3, there is no reason to get a 4. These companies don’t change it every year. More like every 3 to 4 generations now.
Anonymous, 8 hours agoIs Apple even working on a fold? Will the inner screen have a notch like the newer MacBooks, lol?yes, it will have a notch on either side of the screen, for even more security!
Scram, 8 hours agoOn the contrary! Samsung will be amazed to improve the foldables “as much as they can … moreWhat nonsense.
What is preventing these companies from coming out with a foldable compromise right now to shrink the Z Fold3 and Z Flip3?
Actually going out now would be better because the price of Samsung foldables is always very high and they always have trade-offs so consumers will see Samsung foldables are much more expensive but still have trade-offs so why not just buy the others foldable instead.
Releasing compromised foldables once Samsung has perfected theirs makes no sense, Samsung will not increase the price even if they put more features instead, they will decrease it especially for Fold, so the price difference between Samsung foldables and the like would be less now, unless other companies just want to break even, which would be a waste of their resources, because developing any level of foldable isn’t easy, but this times, Samsung foldables will be perfect and much better than the competition, so consumers will think the price difference is not that big, but Samsung foldables are much better, it’s worth having Samsung foldable.
Were they going to put a pen when they can’t even put a proper battery …..
They will probably do away with the stylus in the future for some reason like “our touchscreen interface has been significantly improved to be used without the stylus.

Scram, 8 hours agoOn the contrary! Samsung will be amazed to improve the foldables “as much as they can … moreReality check: TCL had finished shipping devices around the world to compete with the Flip3, with a device they claimed would destroy the price of the Flip 3. All plastic, fantastic BOE trash all over the place. go. Samsung launched the Flip3 for less than $ 1,000 and TCL immediately canceled the launch and recalled all review units. Samsung goes all out, cramming things into it that are years ahead of what the competition can offer and they do it at prices that even Chinese forced labor camps can’t compete with. This is what a decade of R&D over one year of copypasta offers you.
Considering that the current S Pen is very different from the previous EMR type S Pen like in the Galaxy Note series, I still wonder if there is even space to put one in the first place.

I’m waiting for the foldable S Pen

Samsung will be amazed to improve Foldables “as much as they can” or too quickly.
They have been working on collapsible objects for over a decade and have to recoup their R&D costs. This means incremental and minute generational changes and keeping the competition out of their pie for as long as possible.
The minute Samsung releases an uncompromising Fold; Xiaomi, Oppo and co will release a Fold with compromises and a lower price than Samsung. Apple will launch next after Samsung and new Chinese competition build a robust, resilient and profitable supply chain to launch a Fold clone with flat edges + notch, iOS, Bionic chipset, high-end camera, 5 years of updates, good autonomy and exceptional marketing.
And within 2 years the Z line will become like the S line where Samsung has lost all competitiveness because you can get an Android flagship killer with the latest high end chipset and fast charge for $ 599 or an iPhone with all the qualities. previously mentioned for $ 799.
I think it’s in Samsung’s best interest to offer the Foldables as a high-end niche device like the Note, but to lengthen the time needed to iron out the issues until the 8th to 10th gen. Which means no Flip or Fold Lite. Continue like this long enough and the Z line will be the first choice for anyone interested in a foldable remotely.
And whenever the Chinese finally find a way to cut costs, launch a new line of low-budget foldable products with the same playbook as the A-Series.
Fold5 will bring a new innovation, without screen!
I hope for a larger front screen

and they have to share these 50% with cheap Xiaomi
So Samsung needs to improve the crease and flip as much as possible to reduce the impact
Future Fold is expected to have better cameras than regular phones, so it can be called a true flagship, but the future is not now. No competition here, why bother …
