During a launch at BAFTA in London, Chinese cellphone maker Xiaomi announced two new 5G phones – the Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro, as well as a 5G version of the Xiaomi 11 Lite.
Xiaomi 11t pro
According to Xiaomi, the 11T Pro delivers 100% charge in just 17 minutes. Ultra-fast charging is due to technologies such as dual cell battery structure, dual charge pumps, application of graphene on Li-ion battery and Mi-FC technology.
The new 5G phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset has a triple camera with 108 MP wide angle, 2x telemacro and 120 ° ultra wide angle lens. It’s also good for video, with one-click AI cinema modes, 8K recording, and HDR10 +, allowing footage to be captured with the same intelligent ISO technology found in digital cameras. Xiaomi says the 11T Pro: “allows you to turn the special moments of your daily life into Cinemagic”.
Other features include True Display, which automatically adjusts the color temperature according to the surrounding conditions. There is also Dolby Vision and two dedicated speakers.
The Xiaomi 11T shares the same 108MP triple camera setup as the Pro version. There are a range of great AI cinema modes, including Magic Zoom, Time Freeze, and Audio Zoom – where audio fades in and out as the zoom moves in and out.
As you might expect, the chipset is different from the Pro version – the 11T has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra processor. There’s no 120W fast-charging system on this 5G phone, but the 5,000mAh battery and 67W wired turbocharging mean it takes another 36 minutes to fully charge.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G
Xiaomi has added 5G technology to its Mi 11 Lite and improved its performance, design and display, making it a serious contender in the affordable 5G phone market. It features a sleek and slim design, 90Hz AMOLED display and Snapdragon 780G chipset.
