The Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC was a phone that impressed us with its decent specs, performance and attractive price. New leaks and rumors suggest that the new Poco X4 could arrive soon, with a few different models in the lineup receiving the 2022 treatment. Here’s everything we know so far about the Xiaomi Poco X4.
When will the Xiaomi Poco X4 be released?
We do not yet have an official release date, but GSMArena reports that it has received information that the new model will debut in the first quarter of 2022. Xiaomi also plans to update the stable mates of the Poco X4. NFC, so at some point we’ll also see the Poco X4 Pro and the Poco X4 GT arrive to replace their predecessors.
GSMArena states that the Poco X4 will launch in India without NFC and the Poco X4 GT will not reach the subcontinent at all, but the Pro will be available there as soon as it is released.
How much will the Xiaomi Poco X4 cost?
As with the release date, there are no details from Xiaomi on how much the new phones will cost. We can of course turn to the previous line-up to give ourselves some price clues.
If Xiaomi remains stable behind the wheel, prices will hopefully stay above. However, we may see increases as the global processor shortage and supply chain disruption caused by covid begins to impact ticket prices for products across the tech industry.
However, we expect the increases to be minimal. Crossed fingers.
