Mr. Bluesman, 41 minutes agoI’m curious to see how it goes, MIUI is what keeps me away from Xiaomi phones.Yes, I do not recommend it. I love my Mi 10 for the price I paid for it but it will be my first and last Xiaomi. MIUI is buggy like hell and the updates are a joke.

Implement the xiaomi.eu rom as a standard rom
SYS, 1 hour agoThis might be just my opinion, but IDK explains why most Chinese ROM UIs tend to look like … Chinese …. moreBecause China bans google, so no GMS in Chinese phones (at least for most people who don’t use VPN)
The smartphone company must do what Google does in the gms program

It’s called innovation … Remember that all of our smartphones are a copy of the first smartphone, but noo e is 100% the same right
It reminds me that LG has formed a special team to update Android updates on their phones. They didn’t go too far with that, did they?

If you don’t like control center, turn it off and use normal miui center, just go to settings and choose it,
It’s good to have more features, a lot of people like me prefer the control center to any “center” in other skins like a user interface and emui and oxygen os😉

Then launch the theme app and try to download a premium theme
The video will be downloaded and after watching it the premuim theme will be installed
IMO, MIUI has bugs here and there, yes, and the experience is not the same on all devices, but to call it unbearably and completely broken software is just hyperbole. As I said before, it is only surpassed by OneUI in terms of experience.
You see, I used other Chinese UIs like ColorOS on an Oppo Reno3, and after that the FuntouchOS on a Vivo V20 SE (both are from my mom). They’re very light okay, but they’re just too close to stock for my liking. Doing things like screen calibration and customization options like AODs, themes, all I can say is “is that it?”, It seems fair compared to MIUI . And a lot of other niceties like the control center are just the cherries on top.
Still, I have to say that if there is hypothetically an option to choose between this one and OneUI, I would pick Samsung’s in the blink of an eye.
I love MIUI, such useful features and amazing customization. However, lately it has been full of bugs. Flagships can run it well with amazing fully functional features, while budget models struggle even with basic tasks. Xiaomi is really top notch when it comes to hardware, hope it improves MIUI. Good news!
If they are serious about it, they should just jump on the xiaomi.eu forums and start interacting.
This might just be my opinion but IDK why most Chinese ROM UIs tend to look like … Chinese.
I mean, look at MIUI, EMUI / Harmony, ColorOS, Funtouch / OriginOS, they look pretty similar (or at least have the same vibes) compared to Samsung / Sony / Nokia etc.
Again, no offense, just IMHO.
I don’t know why people hate MIUI so much. I actually really liked it. The only thing I don’t like about Xiaomi is the way they hide OS updates under the MIUI versions instead of the actual Android version.
Good. Now hire a suitable designer to design themes, clear your entire gigantic collection of questionable themes in the theme store, and make your operating system look proper. Your theme store is full of people who deserve this “GrAphiC DeSiGn is my PASsiOn” meme.
